The following Terms and Conditions govern the use of BigPhoto online services including print ordering, website use and participation in promotions run by BigPhoto.
Products and services displayed on this site and in the BigPhoto print wizard can be purchased using the secure online credit card transaction facility. We accept MasterCard and Visa. Customers can be confident that all of their details are protected by data encryption and secure transport mechanisms and are used only for purposes of the transaction fulfillment. You agree that you are the authorised user of any credit card used to make purchases from BigPhoto.
All prices displayed are in Australian dollars (AU$) and are exempt from GST. All prices are correct at the time of publication, however we reserve the right to alter prices for any reason. If this should happen after you have ordered a product, your order will proceed with the pricing as it was at the time the order was placed.
For ordering, BigPhoto is a 24 hour, all days service. We will make best efforts to ensure that the service is available and working at all times. Our customer service line 1800-338-315 is staffed 9:00AM to 5:00PM (Canberra-Melbourne-Sydney time), Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. You may leave a message if calling outside these hours or send email to support@bigphoto.com.au at any time.
We will always endeavor to process and dispatch your order within the times specified. However, we cannot be responsible for delays caused in postal systems. Expected delivery time is 3 - 5 business days from the time of order.
Our Quality Control team inspect every order to ensure that the prints you receive meet our high quality standards. However if you do receive an order which is faulty, please don't hesitate to call us free on 1800-338-315 to arrange free return delivery and (or) to have the order reprinted. Orders may be cancelled by calling us if the order has not already been processed (printed).
Your right to use the Service is personal to you. You may not authorise others to use the Service, and you are responsible for all of your own use of the Service.
You may not download, modify, transmit, or otherwise use any material from the Service for public or commercial purposes.
The service's content, information and advice are free of charge (unless otherwise stipulated). However you are responsible for your own network and connection charges.
Other than connecting to BigPhoto servers using the print wizard, HTTP or HTTPS requests using a web browser, you may not attempt to gain access to BigPhoto's servers by any means - including, without limitation, by using administrator passwords or by masquerading as an administrator while using the Service or otherwise.
You agree not to disrupt, modify or interfere with the Service or its associated software, hardware and servers in any way and you agree not to impede or interfere with others' use of the Service. You further agree not to alter or tamper with any information or materials on, or associated with BigPhoto.
You must respect copyright. It is illegal and unethical to reproduce someone else's work without their permission. Any image that you submit to us for printing must be free of any copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights, that are not your own.
We may, at our discretion, contact Police or other law enforcement agencies regarding any images submitted by you to BigPhoto that appear to show criminal acts. We also reserve the right to refuse to process any obscene or pornographic material which our staff find unreasonably offensive.
This site provides general information about BigPhoto and the products and services we offer. BigPhoto reserves the right to change, delete or move any of the material on the site at any time without notice.
BigPhoto shall not be liable to you or any third parties for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive damages allegedly sustained arising out of your access to or inability to access the site. This includes viruses alleged to have been obtained from the site, your use of or reliance on the site or any of the information or materials available on the site, regardless of the type of claim or the nature of the cause of action.
At BigPhoto we are committed to bringing you the best online print ordering service possible. We are also committed to protecting the privacy of our customers.
We only collect information voluntarily provided by our customers and we treat all the data held with the utmost care and security. Any details you give will remain completely confidential.
We use the information provided by you to process, fulfill and follow up on orders. We will also answer email and send information on request. We also use this information to communicate to you details relating to your order or the products and services you purchased from us. We may use non-personal group statistical data about our customers to better understand your requirements and to improve our products and service to you. We do not pass on customer information to other companies.
To protect any personal information all BigPhoto Internet servers are hosted behind commercial firewalls.
This service may place cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a web server to a web browser. Cookies are useful to have your browser remember specific information, which will streamline your use of our service. Cookies cannot be used to get data from your hard drive or record any personal information about you.
It is natural for those new to electronic purchasing to be concerned about the security of personal and credit card details. In reality, a commercial transaction on the Internet is significantly more secure than a similar telephone transaction or handing your credit card over the counter in a store.
To ensure that your credit card or other personal details are kept secure in transit on the Internet, this data, when going to and from, and when held on our Internet servers pending processing, is encrypted. Only at the BigPhoto print fulfillment lab can the credit card information be decrypted. At the lab credit card information is kept private and is only available to authorised personel at the time of processing.
Transaction data and customer details are kept on record. This is so that we can refer to order information in the case of a customer enquiry. Your personal and order information is kept private and you can can query this information at any time by contacting customer services.
Images uploaded to BigPhoto will be kept for thirty days from the date of order. This is for the purpose of dealing with any issues relating to the order. After that time the images will be deleted from the system completely.
Furthermore, to ensure that your credit card information is kept secure in transit on the Internet, this data, when going to and from, and when held on our Internet servers pending processing, is encrypted using powerful 128 bit encryption technology. Only at the BigPhoto print fulfillment lab can the credit card information be decrypted for processing.
It is against our policy to pass on customer information to third parties.
In the unlikely event that your credit card is stolen or fraudulently used, please follow the reporting procedures defined by your credit card provider. Most credit card companies will cover all charges resulting from unauthorised use or limit your liability to a small amount.
